Found the same as CG, Rain Ex does not agree with the wipers on Fl2, have also tried it on other vehicles and found that it maybe something to do with the make up of the Blade, if you have the old style blade that have been around for donkeys it seems ok but the later style blades that are fitted to Fl2 it does not agree.

Haven't tried it on the LR but on other cars it seemed to be OK at speed if you don't use the wipers Shocked but once they wipe they tend to smear the screan and so it's actually worse.
Tried it but don't like it IMHO.

Nilglass, available from MAKRO is excellent. Don't use too much at a time though, and use plenty of kitchen roll.

Rain-ex works a treat for me on my11. Make sure youve got the latest rain-ex. The older formula didn't have a spray gun, just a squeeze bottle. After the first application it did make the wipers judder a little. However after 2nd application a week later it never has since.

I have to disagree. The last application was a month ago and it's just about waring out. Once a month in fine for me and means the bottle lasts a good year too...

Hi there

A product called Clear reflections by Dymon Ltd is smear free only needs a slight spay and put towel across dash board first as the only down side is the spray is wide, dries clear. I use it for the car, house and my bike helmet, it takes grease, soil etc straight off, plus can seems to last forever! WAMMG

No problems here using the spray bottle Rain-X. It's all but worn off now, and time to do it again, but no skipping.

Distilled (white) vinegar works a treat Thumbs Up but you can only seem to buy it with pickled onions floating around in it, in the UK.
