Hi Wildrover, just tell the wife to do the washing more often if she skanks her trousers on the side cills If an FL2 is one thing it ain't fashionable when it comes to clothes.......its a mans car which means getting dirty............short legs or long!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't put m,d flaps on a car which states..........rugged, offroad, essence of man , outgoing, butch, brut......mudflaps suggest... camp and reserved, or Toyota, or Suzuki..........not masculinaty |

Would side steps do the business (a bit more expensive that mud flaps I know!) |

She did suggest the side steps, not because of the dirty sills but because vertically challenged. They are a to fit though, as you need a special tool to 'bell' the nuts into the frame. That bit is only 5 minutes for LR with the right tool, but do LR charge a full hour or part of an hour? Then, it's another item that needs washed so cleaning time will be 5 - 6 hours instead of 4 - 5 hours.

Mud flaps do not help with the problem of spray on the back window. Flaps are a bit of help but not as good as steps would be regards mud spray along the sides. I had steps on my Trooper and the were good at helping protect the sides of the vehicle as well. The mud flaps on as on my FL 2 are not the answer to you problem.

Thought they were about £35 a pair, not sure how much the stealer will charge to fit them though. ______________________

My caravan still gets mud over the front of it when being towed by my FL2 with mud flaps on.
