Make sure it is a composite cable (L,R audio and 1 video, usually yellow colour). I did find Apple's version more reliable than third party ones. Phil

Tom,
You need to double check if you vidoe player is outputting PAL or NTSC. Also need to double check what your screen settings are for video to ensure they are set to the same settings.

Also one other thing, I forgot to hook up the screens under the seat at first and wondered why none of it worked... Laughing

The screens will auto detect PAL or NTSC, so you just need to check whether your source output is ok, or whether the screens are faulty. Phil

do the screens stay on all the time?

Hi I have fitted mine to my Freelander 2 and happy with the result..............just been out at night in the car and noticed that the screens are on.

Are they meant to be on all the time, or are you supposed to switch them on?

Have I connected them to the wrong power supply or something?

They work fine.................so just checking what Ive done.........and that Ive done it right!!

Used Chris 8of9 instructions worked really well Smile

You can turn them off, press and hold the rocker switch thingy. I leave them on as I use them all the time and can't be bothered turning them on and off. Phil

Ha Ha No they can't be popped out, they are fitted inside the headrest itself and hard wired in (the kit includes new headrests with the screens fitted) and the AV control fits in the cubby behind the handbrake/cup holders-or loose under the passenger seat if you prefer.
