My local LR dealer has its first FL2, so just been ans had a good look around it. Noticed a couple of points others might want to look out for when you get to see and drive the car. On the test drive I got earlier in the week we were limited on speed because of traffic condition and didn't make 5 or 6 th gear. The gear change is sprung to the 3rd & 4th plain. Going over for 1st & 2nd is no problem but coming over to the 5th & 6Th plain there is nothing to stop you coming even further over and on to the reverse plain; I forsee a few baulked changes into 5th where the lever goes over too far.

Stornorway looks great in sunlight in my opinion it is probbably the overall safe bet especially with a beige interior or a sporty black one. I am looking at getting one early next year not sure what colour myself yet maybe sumatra with a cream interior and definitely the accessory spoiler and 19" wheels. |

Thanks martin, from the pictures it looks more silver than grey! but on saying that it looks good and feel it suits the car, what are your thoughts?

had our test drive today. On the height issue my Allan didn't seem to have any problems in either front seats. He is only 6ft 3" so I guess if your taller you may have problems.

it was dull, raining and still had the transport wax on it. It looked good you could see the paint colour change depending on the angle you looked from. It was parked beside the stornoway grey. funny how colours make a vehicle Fiona |

don't worry I will. I'm lucky that Allan likes the colour he's a bit of a polishing freak so I think hs see's the potential in how cool it will look when nice and shiny. Plus it will fit in our garages down the road at our other house. Fiona |
