not uncommon air con systems basically leak from new , normally very slowly but they will all needed topping up before to long. If it leaks quickly again it will need testing.

I presume you have had issue with your dealer, maybe a mention in the dealer feedback section with an explanation instead of a quote in a post.

Just in case not many people know this i thought i would share something about aircon systems. If your aircon is running make sure you have at least one vent open and the blower running at least on the lowest speed, if not your system will ice up and stop working and could cost you £££s to repair |

If you manually turn the blower speed to 0, then the AC will stop functioning and the compressor will disengage.

Having had it regased the whole system has now started making very loud noises that change tone when accelerating or decellerating this they told us was the compressor and would need to be replaced which they say they did but low and behold two weeks later the same problem has reappered, its now going back in for another session with the monkeys and fingers crossed they will sort it this time. |

When the compressor is changed, the system must be cleaned and most important filled with the proper quantity of compressor (A/C type) oil. If they miss it, then the compressor will soon be a goner.

I have had a similar problem with my aircon, when accelerating or decelerating I can hear a slight metallic noise coming from the fans this noise has got worse over the last few months, it stops when I turn the aircon off and just have the normal heating on
