Well we're off to Ashford tomorrow morning for our 'Experience' session. For once I'm actually hoping that it rains. 2010 HSE Auto in Santorini Black/almond with xenons and privacy glass. |

Have also done Dunkeld twice, once pre purchase and once post purchase (one or two photos in my gallery). You will be amazed at what the Freelander can do. We also did the rock crawl (picking a route of smaller rocks admittedly) that the 'bigger' vehicles do. |

Done this last Sunday in Ashford Kent. Decided to do it in a Range Rover Sport. Bad mistake I want one!

I did the same, FL2 x2 D3x1 and then the last one my choice was the new RRS, great ride comfort levels

Would highly recommend the experience but don't pay for it. I did it a year ago when deciding which car to buy - FL2 or the Audi Q5. The FL was a no brainer after the day - I may not go off road (at all) but nor do I dive 2000 metres and my watch is waterproof. |

Just got back from our trip this morning, assume we drove the same RRS as you did. Yes - very nice indeed but a bit too big for what we need. 4X4ing was good fun and my missus was even peruaded to have a go. I may have nightmares about relying on HDC one day and leaving it switched off by mistake... 2010 HSE Auto in Santorini Black/almond with xenons and privacy glass. |

My instructor kept reminding me not to brake which overrides the HDC program. Natural instinct is to brake but this would cause you to most probably lock the wheels, skid and lose control. Phil |

It would overide the HDC but not lock the wheels, ABS would still cut in. 2010 HSE Auto in Santorini Black/almond with xenons and privacy glass. |

And it will override only on quite heavy braking. You can still "feather" the pedal without problems. We Don't Care About Pot Holes !! |

I don't know how much driving you get yet as I only booked it last week, but they can take three people in addition to the instructor at no extra cost. |

When I did mine, it was a fairly quiet day and nothing was rushed. Probably a good 2 and a 1/2 hours in the car after the initial hello, H&S talk and car intro. I could do pretty much whatever I wanted, either all off road or 50/50 off/on. The instructor was surprised that I didn't bring someone else along and it mentions 2 people on the LRE site. There was a couple man/wife in a Disco 3 doing the same thing at the same time as me and they swapped over midway so his missus could have a go, so I can't see you having any problems. |

i was told i can take two guests,,, just be warned, if you take guests, and you want them to drive, it'll be your drive time that's eaten into..
