Personally I prefer to have the same make on all 4 wheels, but as long as the same make are on the same axle, and they are the same size as the front one's then there will be no problem. ______________________

I would not do this mate. With any company. Get yourself 4 new tires. My rear tires needed changing as they were at 2mm but the rear ones were 4-5mm. No second thoughts. I changed all 4 to a michelin diam for £588 (I shopped around as the first price I got was £1100). If you want to stick to wranglers (great tire, I did 31k in them) I found them for £470... |

Apart from the potential financial advantage, as staed, there is no issue mechanicaly of having different manufacturers split fornt / rear. As stated, don't mix on the same axle. We Don't Care About Pot Holes !! |

Having just replaced my tyres on the front I was adviced against different makes as I was considering putting a different make on than my rear conti's

Pinky - how many miles have you covered - Your cars a ?MY2010 so this possibly makes it less than 12 months old , mines still on the same ones it rolled out of the factory with in March 08 .......... There's always a way forward!

13500 just over a year old at service it had 6mm but I got a screw in the front which could not be repaired
