Front fogs are a step backwards - they don't look integrated.
I agree - better if there was no mesh around

The newer headlamps do give much better output, but can be expensive to repair.
don't they just have the lense in front of a standard H7 bulb

I don't care what the excuse is for the front spoiler, take the designer out and shoot him/her strait away. Sad
I Quite like them

I understand that quite a few people like the integrated colours of the lower doors, bottom of the bumpers and door mirrors - but - I think that for a car that is designed for off-road it's a bad move.
I don't think its a issue, i have never marked them

Looks like they have dropped the silly auto dipping interior rear view mirror - great, mine has had a piece of insulation tape over the sensor since day two.
I don't have a problem with it, though i can be quite dark viewing due to tints

Love the new two tone seat colours.
I dont like the seat colour, or texture but if different padding was available :8

Hope the front parking sensors are a dealer option fit, or is this an attempt to reduce the warranty claims?
I think its low spec model made up to HSE and they thought we won't notice

What are the additional lights in the lower section of the rear bumper?
Reflectors like you have now

Quite like the new boot handle, as long as there is a non-chrome version.
I Agree

Two wheel drive for those who don't off-road or drive on snow seem a good idea, as long as there is a 4x4 option more choice can only be better.
Sign of the times and opens up the market which = cash

Will be keeping mine for some time yet as even with the more powerful engine there isn't enough of a change to warrant the additional expense.
and they would make a G4 version in Orange either

What did you expect - reactionary luddite at heart. Embarassed

Looks better in blue, front bumper/grill looks nice but front fog lights look poo. Not worth upgrading from my FL2 for such a small face lift will wait for the FL3 Wink

I don't like it!
Big Cry Big Cry Big Cry

Square fog lamps very ugly!

Tailboot handle too much pling pling!

Is a rear spoiler really necessary? It's a SUV not a Ferrari!

The Baltic Blue color is nice!

LR had to go the 2WD because Ford and all other SUV are NON offroad capable and most sell 2WD versions!

Personally i don't like the 2WD version Freelander 2 SE 4Td Izmir Blue, Dog cage for Alaskan Malamute, iphone Navigon Navigator

No different to the 2010MY, spoiler is fitted to current HSE models.

More information on Autocar at;

http://www.autocar.co.uk/News/NewsArticle/AllCars/251737/

Biggest (and only really significant) change is the engines, the SD4 unit looks like a big improvement and the SD4 HSE is much better value at £35,510 - assuming that the spec is the same as the current HSE and you can still negotiate a reasonable discount.

Still at that price it is getting perilously close to things like the new Touareg, for £38K you get 240PS and an 8 speed auto. 2010 HSE Auto in Santorini Black/almond with xenons and privacy glass.

United Kingdom 2011 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Fuji White

As I've mentioned before I'm getting a TD4e GS fiji white one.
I'll need to get used to the new look fogs but other than that I'm pretty chirpy about the whole thing. I'm not doing it for the sake of it, my PCP runs out on 22nd October so it made sense to get MY11 ordered ASAP, anything to help the residuals!!

Looking at those front fogs again, I wonder could the black be colour-matched after market to the rest of the car. Whistle
Might have a play in photoshop this evening when I get home.
