I like it! looks really smart

Only thing I'm not fussed on is the strip across the boot.

oh no, they're offering a 2wd. I think the sky is going to cave in! Laughing

Certain markets sell a significant proportion of faux-by-fours SUVs (Australia), which can only be a good thing for LR. Ok the beardy-weardies (uber-enthusiasts) at LRO may say the brand will suffer (at risk of opening that debate again) but something has got to pay for Evoque, new Ranger Rover et al...

Back to subject:
£27k for an SD4 seems a bargain and makes the petrol almost irrelevant - even though you can't get one in the UK (or are they special order?)

+1 for the boot strip Confused

Looks ok, but it has what looks to be the green display on the dash, were I heard it was going black with White text like D4

Also has black spoilers in front wheels, maybe to prevent the self washing when you drive through a puddle Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Don't like the new foglamps. Make up your mind, it's square or its round, don't mix it up.
The "older" ones look just right!! Thumbs Up

front wheel spoilers are strange too. Confused

+1 on the boot strip

Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Looks very nice with improved "toned down" grill size and colour Thumbs Up Plus also for colour coded side mirrors and tungsten door handles (although these are not new). Looks like new green and SILVER LR badges Question and note that dropping of the model name on the boot was just speculation. Like the new leather seats with two-toned panels and stitching and hope there will be a wider range of colours than today Thumbs Up

The only thing that I don’t think is an improvement, is the fog light recess shape in the front spoiler which will be more likely to collect insects compared to today’s design. However this is obviously a design future that will grow on us in time. Although not a lover of colour coded lower panels, they certainly look nice on light colours for urban use, but for off-road users they are unnecessary.

All in all very nice and the new SD4 HSE will certainly tempt me to part with some cash when replacement day arrives. Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.

Love the grille!

Fog lamps dont look right, why not body coloured to blend in with the bumper?

Where are the daytime running lights?

Wont those front wheel spoilers be damaged going up high kerbs / off-roading?

The boot chrome doesnt look too bad on this colour but think it will look hideous on a darker coloured car

Whats with the botty stained seats? Whistle

Mmm.
Bumper & grill split to form 2 separate parts to make insurance repairs easier as it should have been from day one. Ddealers moan like hell about having to remove the current one as one piece.

More paint everywhere to bump, scrape & chip so the dealers have more repair work to do.

Call me cynical but apart from the new/updated engines, I prefer what I have. Neutral

There no moonroof either????

The dash shot shows a couple of switches by the dials blanked off which makes me think this is a lesser spec model - although it has the upgraded Radio unit and armrests for the front seats (HSE), hmmmmm, LR keeps up guessing!!!
