2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Zermatt Silver
dealer loyalty programme's

Hi,
I 've had my freelander for about a week now, and just got another load of gumpg through the post from the local dealer. It appears I can sign up for their `allegiance` loyalty programme and get discounts on all servicing. Has anyone done this, and is it really worth it? If the dealer servicing is expensive I'm going to go to a local LR specialist and get it done there instead, as it doesn't affect the warranty.

As far as servicing goes they cannot stop you going to an independant for servicing. The legal precedent has been set and as long as the work is done by a VAT registered garage using LR parts there is no effect on your warranty, however can you be sure youre independant has access to all the latest software updates and patches for the car (sounds like its made by microsoft Laughing ) as this often is the difference.

Can't see that the independant garage would be any different to a Landy dealer anyway, cause the Landy ones never seem to have the bleedin downloads either Laughing Laughing

I always do dealer services anyway

They cost more, but you always feel that having a dealer stamp in the book will pay it back when it comes to selling.

So if you get a discount i'ed go for it,

Is there any other benefits?
