Surprising, but then, I have had mine for 2 years in September and received a whopping 1.4 GB of Data. (In two years....) Although it is interesting that they can changed from unlimited data. Interestingly, I had a guy in the office two days ago who explained that the reason the companies were opting for unlimited data was because they didn't have the capability to bill it in bits...

It seems that the iPhone bolt on is now 1GB data!! Very odd. I guess that they are trying to stop the people who have jailbroken their phone and tethered it to their computer and are browsing on their phone.... Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again...

i'm on O2 business, my phone been the sharer phone on the tariff, the 2 phones we have basically share the data and currently we pay £8.51+VAT for unlimited data each as the iphone bolt on

Will be interesting to see how they do it as they are 24month contracts, with a new phone every 12

speaking to O2 the 1st phone is due August for is renewel, mine was added the following June, so his 24 month is up and my initial 12 is up (but still tied in for another 12) and we both can upgrade on the 24th, mine would be cost of phone, his will be cost of phone + an extra £20 per month until his actual renewel date as early upgrade fee, pro rata from 24th till Austgust ??th

couldn't get a straight answer on the data, apart from we are currently unlimited, couldn't even say how much we had used as she said they don't keep a record on unlimited acounts

I don't think they even know much yet to be honest, they didn't have info on colours of what sized GB they are coming in, but i ordered my micro sim anyway to be safe.

I won't be paying stupid money for the phone though Thumbs Up Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Downloaded OS4 for the 3GS tonight

Pretty good, seems quicker, grouping of icons into folders, zoom on camera, etc

Has a spell checker too, but not found a way to get it working in safari Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Why would you need a spell checker in Safari?

BTW: Check this site for a complete run down on iOS4, you might find it educational. I sure did.

Just a word of warning upgrading from to ios4. The Backup takes a VERY long time to complete. Do not interrupt it as if you do you will loose messages, notes etc.etc.... (Speaks from experience)

A bit of luck my Time Machine works, otherwise some important data would have gone AWOL!! Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again...
