Scotland 2013 Freelander 2 TD4 GS Manual Buckingham Blue

I cant get my 3GS to pair no matter what I do.
It searches for the phone, finds it then when you press the button it says pairing failed.

Any ideas what I am doing wrong? I have downloaded 4.1 for the phone and still won't work. Big Cry

? Press the button ?

The pairing process is supposed to go,

iPhone - Settings / General / Bluetooth (iPhone now discoverable)
Car - Phone key / Menu / Scroll to Bluetooth / Connect Phone / Add a new phone - Click to search.

The Car should find the phone (shouting "it's here you piece of Censored " doesn't help) and show a 4 digit PIN number on the screen.

The phone will ask for the PIN, put it in and Robert is your Fathers brother...

Sorry if I am teaching you to suck eggs, but the press the button bit didn't compute! Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again...

Yeah I tried all that. My old phones linked fine.

When I said press the button I meant the bit where it says ensure bluetootch is on blah blah.

It then finds the phones and it appears on the screen of the car as 'iphone'.

It's when I press the button to confirm that is the phone I wish to pair to it comes up pairing failed would you like to try again.

It's driving me mad Banging Head

Sorted now.

I emptied the sim card of contacts (it was full) and it paired first time and has paired every time since then. Thumbs Up
