auto express tests said philips where best. they also said that without getting the alignment checked afterwards new bulbs could be a waste of time.

Agreed, a quick way to spend £20 - £40 but a huge improvement |

Just wondering if these +100% ones were any better ? And I've just ordered some Philips Blue Vision's for the sidelights ! |

I have them in my car. I have just gone from my old FL2 with xenons to a Halogen car. I would say they are half way between 30% brighter H7's in my SLK (with projector lights for clear beam definition) and the proper HID xenons in my old LR and my Ford Focus. Whislt the beam pattern isn't as clear as a projector type headlight, these bulbs do seem to make the light pattern more noticeable.

in my old car i had Ring's 60% brighter, and you could see the difference but test show that some 100% dont perform as well as 30%'s there was a post by somebody recently showing a comparison between xenons, halfords bulbs and i'm sure a ring bulb was on there Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis |

I posted a comparison carried out by Which ? magazine - but these Ring +100% bulbs were not included. I've heard they give a whiter light than the Osram's or Philips bulbs......?

I think it was one of your posts which stated the fogs were H11's ! If you are wrong, you owe me £20 ! |
