Imagine how dated my 2G feels then!
Apple have done some amazing things of late but have still managed to lose some of my respect. All the 'incentives to upgrade' tricks I find rather manipulative. Like publicly saying that the 2G iPhone hardware is incapable of video recording but then a couple of guys in their free time create a perfectly functional jailbreak app that does it. They're getting very 'corporate', megalomanic and greedy - not the Apple I know of old.
That's not to say I'd ever go back to Windows - I went through that hell when I was younger. And I'll be first in the queue for a 4G iPhone....
....but I'm watching them with suspicion....

i think the look of the phone is great,

flat front and back glass panels,
the stainless steel edging that's actually an aerial for GPS etc,
5mb camera with LED flash,
720 HD Video,
the wifi only video talk using the front camera too (great for when your away from the kids),
multi tasking (albeit only for new programs that are multitask enabled)
the 4x sharper screen
longer battery life
and the fact it will work with FL2 BT (I'm optimistic) Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

As I have gone from the original 2G, then to the 3G, then to the 3GS - I will be in the queue come June 24th!!

I read the press release as 4 countries will have it available on the 24th, of which the UK is one. Then 15 other countries etc etc. I will try and find the press release Chris

Why do you think it wouldn't work with FL2 BT? The 3GS is fine, and the OS upgrade usually builds on what's there, I doubt the hardware would make a difference to BT.
The voice dialling is a novelty, tried it for fun at the beginning. In the car or out and about, too many false dials and a bit random as need a clear voice input. I don't bother. Phil

Well, the iPhone 3GS work's fine with iOS 4 - I just tested it - the same OS the iPhone 4 will ship with. So, unless there's a fundamentally differrent BT-chip in the 4, it is highly likely to work fine with BT in the FL2. Leopard tank drivers never stop at anything.

Its a 393,3 MB file, and you'll need iTunes 9.2 to boot, so I think not....; )

But, if you know where to look, you can find it readily available on the net, alas, its Mac OS only at this stage. Leopard tank drivers never stop at anything.
