Independant: £85 for 30,000 service using OEM parts.

That's a crazy price - 5l of good quality synthetic oil and a new filter would nearly cost that - let alone the labour to do the change - hope you got value for money  2009 XS Manual in Martinique Blue with XS Style Pack, Privacy Glass, 19" Alloys, Private Plates, Wood Company centre armrest, stainless steel sill protectors.

I have used the same mechanic for 8 years without a problem, He is very thorough, he even greases the door hinges. He explains every piece of work he has carried out and advises on work that will need to be done in the future or at the next service. I get him to service the wifes and daughters cars as well.

Just back from Stratstone's Cheltenham from having the car's 1st service. £279 inclusive of a loan car (57 plate GS), courtesy 1 litre bottle of Castrol GTX and a mini valet. Very competative price for around here.

Had my car serviced yesterday, a little early due to holidays i have

Gave Farnells Leeds Central a go for £279 + £10 insurance on Loan car (a FL2 HSE in Blue)

serviced and cleaned, no problems found or advice notes and the invoice came in at £239 all in, so can't complain at that at all.

picked up car after service, very pleased couple of things sorted out under warranty.
rusty locking wheel nuts changed
air inlet pipe onto turbo replaced
very happy with service will use again.

just one question i thought a service reminder should have shown on dash board, but non did. Al C
