The otal came to £283 which is very fair it was the first fl2 they have serviced and they lookedv up the price on a disc from landrover is it a coincidence that £283 is a numerical anagram of £382 |

I was extemely disappointed with new car sales at Guy Salmon Leeds. I bought their demonstrator Discovery 1 in 1999 when they were getting their new D2 demos in. When I planned the FL2,and went to see them, they offered me a very poor trade-in on my 2004 G4 Discovery which the saleman agreed he could not believe the mileage judging by the condition. The very brief search for an ex-demo or stock vehicle to the spec I wanted ended with "it will have to be a new order" and there was no hope of a discount either.

Yes - nice guy and very enthusaistic about his job. He made me a good first offer and we then haggled a bit over extras. When my delivery date slipped (bit annoying after I had timed my private sale to perfection) Howard fixed me up with a recent traded in Disco as a loan car to keep me mobile. I just had to put it on my insurance.
