Should be fine. I think the days of bad cars has vanished along with skinney jeans, shoulder pads and the Bay City Rollers.

No one uses the FL2 i have, it sits in the driveway, they all use the Discovery. The FL2 only done 1k miles in 10 months. I'll have to flog it in honesty. What is it 220 excise, 320 service, 200 insurance. It's not doing the car any good.

Oh, it's you. The one good reason for never setting foot in Wales! Anyway, I was responding to a member asking a question, not to you personally, if I offend you that much, simply ignore me - Please or would you just like to continue harassing and bullying me like your last comment on the cost of FL2 a few weeks ago, basically telling me to shut up, which was a bit rich, again considering I hadn't even been responding to you then either!

The end!

we looked at the Kuga but seemed to be a very sharp rake on the windscreen which protruded into the door spaces too much for our liking, but this is obviously a matter of personal comfort and taste.

I would agree with Carnoch that there are very few bad cars on the market nowadays, and it all comes down to what you feel comfortable in.

best to get a test drive in the Kuga and all the others as well !!

that's what we did and eventually narrowed our choice down to FL2 or Subaru Forester boxer diesel. ( ps this is also a great car and worth a drive )

they've sorted the engine out then! Mate drove a legacy diesel, I had a go in a Forester and they were SOOOO noisy! Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again...

didn't find it any noisier than the FL2, but the gearchange is a little notchy compared to FL2.

wife said it did roll a bit in the back when cornering, but I found it a quite nice drive overall.

If they were to put the 2.5 Turbo petrol engine in it, it would be a great car. I have to admit it is a looker. Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again...

We also looked at the Kuga before settling on the Freelander.

I thought that fit, finish and kit on the Titanium model all seemed very good Thumbs Up . I was also impressed at how well it drove. The only down side was the rear legroom. We are both over 6 feet tall so have our front seats quite a way back! The Kuga is based on the Focus so it's not as big inside as the Freelander.

It was always supposed to be the 4WD Smax which would have been a great idea. (The Smax is huge inside) Never quite made it unfortunately.

Ford could just do with a decent Diesel engine. Why they can't nick the D5 unit out of the Volvo is beyond me. Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again...
