Probably, another reason why it never happened proobably, although I would prefer one to the petrol straight 6 that's in it now, which just so happens to be 3 litres and fits... Thinking about it...I wonder if that's on the horizon? After all the discovery is diesel only now?[/url] Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35 Family's: 2009 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Auto, Stornoway Yorkshire - God's County |

There was always a conspiracy theory about the BMW 135i. BMW slowed it down a bit because it was quicker than the M3.... Must have a go in a 135i at some time.... Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again... |

Freelander or 1 series?! 1 series has a 2ltr 177 bhp and 208bhp 2.0 Twin turbo. Freelander is 157 bhp (I think) Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again... |

A 135 is an absolute riot. They didn't slow it down, it's got the same power as the other '35 badged cars from the time.

Allegedly one of Mr Clarkson's favourite cars. Had a 120d, one of the second batch that came in. Had it chipped to about 190bhp. Absolutely loved it. Will get another one, but the 123d... I understand that they are getting 240-250bhp out of them... Hi Darling, I'll be home in 10 mins. If I'm not back, please read this message again... |

Standard they are a match for the straight 6 M3, but you can get 400hp from a (1/3)35i - requires chip, exhaust and intake sorted - that it. With the extra torque of the twin turbos its a match for the v8 m3. |
