United Kingdom 2010 Freelander 2 TD4_e GS Manual Santorini Black
Plastic body panels

This might seem a silly question.
I an PX'ing a Nissan X-Trail for my new FL2.
I know that plastic body panels are the vogue and quite a few of the main panels on the X-Trail are plastic.
But, are any of the FL2's panels made of plastic?
This does not include bumpers.
Just interested Very Happy

Wales 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 SE Manual Zermatt Silver

I don't think any of the exterior main panels are plastic. I have been round the LR factory in Halewood and dont recall seeing any there either.

Norway 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Stornoway Grey

Front and rear "bumpers" are plastic thank goodness (mine got scraped on ice during the winter). The panels under the doors are clip on plastic/rubbery material, at least on the non painted type.
Otherwise its a pity that our FL2 is does not have more plastic/rubber protection on the wheel arches and doors. 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
