I have a rattle from the headlining between the two sunroofs on my FL2 SE, I noticed these after they had done a service recall on the drainage for the sunroof.

Hi Hotcoffee. My FL2 used to have a rattle from the sunroof. It was there only when it was open. Found out it was a not properly glued plastic, which I had to glue with windscreen glue. It was accesible only when open. No rattles from the sunroof since then. However having test driven a diesel FL2 (which was possibly very abused) I could here various rattles around the sunroof, but never bothered to check. Keep us posted if you find the cause. |

npinks I have this LR bulletin at hand. The whole headliner has to come off to install the clips on the drainage. |

Thanks for the info so far. I'll investigate the potential lack of glue at the weekend. npinks you mention a service recall? - have I read this right? - did you receive a letter regarding this and I have not received anything. Cheers |

A service action is what I meant, less important than a recall. My car was in for something else to be fixed and the service desk said that there was a service action on the drain clips for the sunroof, it was with them for a couple of days anyway and they ordered and replaced the clips at the sametime. Normally they would wait till the car goes in for something else like a service or fault, which is what they did for the oil breather pipe mod/check they had to do. |
