Knew I should have waited for a better design - still there is still time for it to be written off between now & then I guess! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I suppose we had to expect a facelift after 4-5 years but, to be honest, I think the L2 looks good as it is!! And remember - any new model will have its teething problems - give it 2-3 years before all the problems are ironed out. That will take us to 2013 when lr2maker tells us an lr3 will be launched,.So what is the point of the interim model -LR obviously just want to make a few more Bucks I think (unless of course it is ELECTRIC - NO THANKS |

facelifts shouldn't bring any additional teething problems as they tend to be cosmetic changes Phil |

Isnt it true that car manufacturers deliberately tone down new models in anticipation for a facelift 3 or 4 years down the line? I have noticed the trend for facelifted models to have colour coded handles and rubbing strips as well as LED backlights, fit these at launch and you wont be able to do a facelift! |

Only for new models - from whatlr2m states, I don't think it will be a new model |

Course its true. facelifts are a waste of money in my view. Its just another way for a manufacturer boost up sales by just doing a few minor things to make ur own version look old basically so you to trade in ur old one and get a new one. 2008 Td4 Freelander2 GS - santorini black. Hse alloys, privacy tints, LR side steps, LR seat covers, LR boot mat. |

Yes agreed Natwest, for sure not a new model - but I'll bet one of my Yorkshire Farthings that they will put DRL's on it |
