I think there are lots of car drivers in UK who have mixed up their fog lights with the DRLs. Everyday I see so many running with fog lights on and wonder how many actually know that its iligal to do so. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

BFGLR2Man, perhaps as a test you can try this. Rather then taking apart the headlight unit you should be able to place 3mm LEDs between the fixed part of the head light and the floating reflector unit. You can access this gap when you open the rear cover of the head light and also this gap is very similar to the two circles pattern that new RRS has got. I have to say placing individual LEDs may not be very easy but at least you are not doing any permanent damage to the light unit if you use double sided tape or someting. If you like the look then maybe you can go for opening up the front cover. Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Auto

Those lights would be illegal in UK you can't have a white light shining to the rear apart from reversing lights. They would need to be red |

At risk of upsetting some people....but all DRL's that I've seen remind me of a council house at christmas.
