Can't give you any advice on how to fix it I'm afraid, but you have my sympathy and I hope it's easily sorted.

The after bodyshop looks brill!! Notice the side steps not replaced - is there a reason, or did you not want to replace |

I'd have it checked out at the stealers, if nothing else, you will know whats involved when you take it elcewhere. On the other hand, it may be damaged beyond what can be seen. hope not. |

Actually it was the side steps that caused most of the damage, I thought they would have protected the sill. Plus the nice body shop lost the insurance excess by not replacing them which was ok with me, and I don't get mud on my trousers from the steps now. |

Seeing the before and after pic above I feel a lot happier now, my bumper scuff doesn't seem too serious now, but will still be getting it checked out at the stealers (taking carnochs advise there).

Try & find a reputable local body shop like I do as if you give it to a dealer unless they have their own bodyshop it will be sent to the cheapest place they could do a deal with & charge you top rates & probably end up with a crap job! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.
