As per my earlier post, what they initially offer appears a tactic to get you to the INSPECTION center, and whence you're there they use psychological staling tactics to make you accept an offer way under the true value of your vehicle, This was the gist of the Expose of a former employee.

They offer far less than what dealers do and i love the what they say in there advert (Dealers dont want the hassle of a part ex). Yeh like thats true, what the heck do they expect us to sell then?

How much was their original offer? £8000? and is that what they gave you?

£8350 online valuation. £8000 was the negotiated offer at the inspection due to some small stone chips to the bonnet and a scuffed alloy, although he did try a cheeky offer of £7800 initially. I just argued that a smart repair could sort out the problems he mentioned for a few pounds and we settled at £8k so sold it. |
