FL2 Courier network - Wheels - Leicester to Scotland

Anyone with space for 4 x 19" alloys and tyres for a Disco? As per title, can arrange to meet anywhere in Scotland basically, but the further north the better. A contribution to diesel.

True, but he might be stowed out with all his skis etc. 4 19" Disco wheels in a car does take up a bit of room. Mind you it would look cool with them on the roof, just like a G4!

All else fails, I'll get back to you if you might be up next month. I am in no hurry, just sucession planning, my present ones are down to between 4-5mm and I replace them BEFORE they get to 2mm. Thats about 6k miles left out of them. The Disco uses the rubber unlike the FL2. Atv the same sort of miles, 12k, there are 6mm plus left.

Thank McP. I'll maybe take you up on that. I just need to get sorted with some wheels. The last lot I missed out on, primarily because the seller wanted mega dosh and wouldn't compromise. The courier was costing quite a bit too, so hence I left it and they got sold. That said I have other ones I am looking at from the same area. It's just me sucession plannig. I normally change tyres at 2mm, the originals are sitting on between 4-5mm. By my way of thinking, they have 6 months left.

It was an olive branch disguised with humour. Never mind. Good luck in finding transportation you’ll need it with all your hostile comments.

I was just trying to protect Disco3 and Freel2 as they have helped us with access to information for the last 5 years. Thank you Martin.

Now where’s that chicken’s head gone.

Look, stop banging on about it would you? Your persistance is unwanted. It also worries me that you have been taking time to research old posts to which I contributed.

My final word is your last post was no olive branch, it was pure sarcasm. I've had a few PM's from other members, it did you no favours. Time to stop!

Right, looks like Birmingham to Scotland now. They are 4 x 20" 2010 D4 HSE alloys and tyres. They will be large, but nothing too dire. Any takers?

Carnoch - The previous offer is still on, Birmingham (Witton B6 post code but don't mind a detour) to Leeds on either Thursday this week or again Tuesday next week, still a long way to go but a step in the right direction Thumbs Up If pick up is this Thursday can get them to Blackburn (BB1 post code) Friday morning. Safe own garage storage for a week or so if they have to stop in Leeds a bit - shame they won't fit a Freely Whistle

Hi, thank you for the help. The garage will be giving me a ring in the next day or two, so I should have the details and be able to make some arrangements.

Yes, the 20" alloys would look nice on the FL2, but fortunately or otherwise, they just fit the Disco. Just had to have them, not that I dislike whats already on.
