Better get up here quick, the weather has changed. It's warmer and the forecast says it will stay that way. A lot of snow has already gone.

A lot of the snow has gone today and the next week will be similar temperatures.

Anyway, if you go down Glen Nevis, see if you can see a babe that I did a few years ago.

Motorcyclist and pillion pulls up in th car park, dead hot day, place was busy, it was a mega big Italian bike, both people in shiney new leathers, helmet. He takes his gear off, old man in his late 50's, bit of a pot belly, not a lot of hair and what there was, was silver. She takes her kit off, 30's, long black hair, tall, slim, black T-shirt, no bra, leather jeans fitted where they touched, a total honey straight out of a top shelf mag. Then went onto snog the old guy. Why not me dear God???????????

Yeah, your right, must have a bit of dosh kicking about, she wasn't into it for love unless she had a white stick missed. He must have been one happy hombre! I've seen it before, you know when your out and about, but this dame was totally perfect. I think all the guys jaws dropped that day. There was a lot of miserable looking SWMBO's.

Haha well, let's face it, I bet they're both having a hell of a lot of fun...ironically probably at each other's expense!

But ye I know the feeling, as a 22 year old sometimes it makes you just want to give up chasing women! Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35

Back in Leeds Shocked

Had a great day at Nevis, snow was plentyful and lots of wide open runs to play on

plan was to set off Sunday morning, but a phone call home during the day, Mrs NP told me my 11 month old daughter Little NP Laughing was really poorly with D&V and not eating. Crying or Very sad

I decided that instead of worrying and possibly getting a phonecall through the night we would set off, so off we went at about 5:20 and was home after drop off's by 11:45 not bad with a McD stop off

Glencoe was a very nice with the sun setting behind snow capped mountains with purple and orange clouds Thumbs Up

With the 3 boards on top I got 27.3mpg @70mph+ on way (based on fuel) the car was saying 29.8mpg

onway home it was saying 30mpg+ as I tried it with the aircon turned off Confused (still need to add 3/4 of a tank of fuel)

my two mates felt like royalty sitting in the back Been chaufered home watch Movies and playing games on way home, said the 6 hour trip felt like 3 Laughing but I think that was the case of kronenburg speaking Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

just to update the previous post my return journy with the aircon off which started off reading 30mpg but did drop once on the motorways to say 28mpg

the calculated fuel based MPG was 26.73mpg on the way back Shocked

3 snowboards, which had bindings on with a Thule Extender Snowboard rack at 75-80mph is the equivant of towing my caravan on a good day,

What do the others with these roofracks gets whilst going on longer motorway trips

I'm starting to think I might have a stuck EGR valve or something Neutral Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Don't know about the FL2, but on Sunday, on the single track roads, up and down hills, the Disco managed 31.7mpg with the roof bars on, but nothing on them. Just filled up today, I'd not reset the trip for nearly 200 miles, not all of that would have been at the weekend, but the majority. The cars a man rather than auto, but not bad, so yours should be far in excess of that?
