yes happens to me as well, cruise control on/off can do that too.

Funny thing is on mine if you changed the volume, the track change button does not skip tracks until the volume display gets back to normal display on the cd player screen. Anyone else have the same? 2010 Freelander 2 Select TD4 auto....gone

Noticed it too, but am trying to work out my theory that a quick press once doesn't work (perhaps to save accidental bumps) but longer push of buttons rather than tap does work first time.
