It has been mentioned on here in the past and has happened to mine once, put it down to pushing in the fob and pressing the start button to quickly and the car not "Booting up Correctly". p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

Sorry to resurrect and old thread but thought it was better than starting a new one. I have noticed the same behaviour on my head unit, buttons are very dimly lit after locking the car. Does any one know a fix for this?

My radio (S model) went funny recently. LED screen lit up but was blank. I turned the ignition off and the screen was still illuminated but still blank. I took the fob out and re-inserted it then the radio booted up and was fine since. Dont know the cause but in 9 months of ownership its only done it once. Black MY2013 SD4 GS Auto, Wood Company Armrest, Freel2 sticker.

I have applied all the software patches available for the radio (as of November 2012).
