Just got some roof rails fitted last week, picked the car up on Friday,

Can anyone state if the back rails dont fit flush? Mine seem to have a 4 mm gap on the back fixing, compared with the
other two which are flush.....? Help?

Also, the frikin wind noise, making a whistling tune all weekend, which seems to be happening on the 30 mph or above or below mark which is not good!

I think it finishes the FL2 off nicely, but the wind noise is gonna drive me ragey!!!! Anyhoo off oot on me mobike.....

i love fire too!!! love to burn stuff, used to set fires in me garage when i was younger, loved how big i could let the flames go before i had to put them out......ah the good ol days!  Anyhoo off oot on me mobike.....

1: The roof rails on their own should not whistle at all
2: 4mm gap on rear fixing is incorrect - they should be flush to the roof black plastic runners as per the middle and front "feet" - who fitted the rails? Give'em a rollocking
3: Is the Cross Bar fitted nice n flush If one is not fitted to tension the Left n Right roof rail then I could imagine you'll get a vibration induced along the whole length of each rail especially if you've got a 4mm gap on the rear footing. Those fixing bolts should be torqued down to 12Nm

Roof rails fit flush on all feet.

Have you got the right roof rail set - there are two different ones, one for vehicles with sun roof, one for vehicles without.

Fitted mine some time ago, at 70mph with sunroof and blind closed you cannot hear them.

I agree they finish the vehicle off nicely.

To get your picture first it has to be in your gallery - if it is then.....
Go to gallery, my gallery, open the picture you want to copy by double clicking on it. This brings up the picture plus script below it e.g. File name, file size etc etc and find the box 'BB code'. On the actual code left mouse click on all the script which should highlight it all in black, then right click the mouse and select copy - go to your message area (this bit) and right click your mouse and select paste.
