Land rover defender values? so your the guy with no shoulders. No a very cold elbow still pining for my 3dr, no removeable hardtop, no drop glass tailgate, no roof rack, no pockets everywhere to stow all that man kit |

For me the bigger boot could be achieved by moving the rear seats forward as required..I rarely carry passengers in the rear seats but would like a bigger boot at times.

Do you mean folding the rear seats? That's what I do when I need more space. Tricky if you have valuables and have to leave the car, though.

No I meant actual being able to slide the seat position like you do with the front seats. I agree folding the seats doesn't aid security hence I'd like a bigger boot area which can be covered...just an extra few inches |

Not the same.Ok a more efficient 6 cylinder engine can be fitted into a disco but up-sizing from 4 cylinders to six is unlikely to improve economy- At work

Thats the thing, people should look at a Freelander for what it is, and not adapt it for your own purpose. If you want a bigger car, then get a bigger car. If you want a sporty "add all the bits on Vitara" then get something else. Sure, better fuel economy would be great (esp for the high fuel prices). |

They can stick with 4 cylinders, just make the car lighter. LR is going to diet their models in the coming years anyway so LR3 would be a good starting place.

Indeed - the car doesn't need to be bigger but more flexible inside..not a big issue but on the wish list |

dont LR say they fit a single turbo for more torque. Although a twin turbo should be capable of producing low down torque At work
