Prospective FL2 Owner

Firstly hello to everyone.

I have been mooching around on here for a while (lots of useful info) but this is my first post so please be gentle.

After much deliberation I think I have finally narrowed it down to a new FL2, I did consider others including XC60 (felt too car like) and Q5 (too expensive). I have a few questions:

What price should I expect to pay at the moment (I am interested in the GS) and where are the biggest savings to be had?
Are there any 'must have' options (in your opinions)?
I am currently torn colour wise between stornoway grey and santorini black (never owned either colour)?

Any help appreciated.

Cheers.

Ah the old arguement Laughing I shall remain un-biased, personally Id go for a GS with leather as an extra ( possiblly fitted later rather than factory,to ensure 100% real leather)...........in santorini privacy and side tubes.
In higher specs you are paying over the odds for a rather poor sat nav system At work

I would look at leather, but as CG says aftermarket leather can be better, In a combination colour and style that suits you, not what the LR Designers thought you would like

people who have had this done have used seat surgeons who I think are York based Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

I agree with that comment 100% as I had this issue. I wanted the cream (Alpaca) seats but the rest in the black trim but was told I couldn't have it unless I bought a RangeRover Sport! (Past) Freelander 2 HSE 2010 MY In Rimini Red.

I ordered my GS with a heated front screen and the front park distance sensors, and would not like to be without either. The other options can be fitted by the dealer.

My GS Galway Green should arrive in 3 weeks. Cannot wait!! Very Happy Just been to the dealer and seen a XS Galway Green in the car park, looks good, almost black at first glance. My car has been build as it now has a chassis number. Not sure if I will wait till the new reg number in Mar or stick with 59 reg. Question

The grey colour is more practical, the black colour is more respectable.
I have chosen the grey colour and don't pity.
Apropos usually they use the best colour in an advertising of a car

Saw both stornoway grey and santorini black at the dealer today. Both these look great. Wife does b=not like black cars, hence the very dark galway green. Looking at both black and stornoway grey, the grey does win but it is all down to personnel choice in the end.

Good news, just had a call from the dealer and they will try to get by new FL2 sooner as it is built.
