Surely global warming would get rid of the harsh winters we have anyway!? Joke.

I think Jeremy Clarkson a lot of years ago interviewed one of the anti 4x4 brigade and they owned up to bullying 4x4's publicly because they are an easy target...a range rover is smaller than an A8 but because it's taller, with a bit of persuasion the whole world thinks that the reason that some unfortunate people in Africa are in drought is because of this slightly taller car than usual. So that is blatant ignorance that they were fed up and just wanted to cause the biggest stir they could with the minimum amount of effort. Unfortuantely, because the general public who don't rely on 4x4's are the biggest voters in Britain, politicians adopted the 4x4 bullying tactics to get votes. So basically, Carbon offset or not 40+mpg (which is just about possible) or not, we're Censored Mine: 2012 Golf GTI Edition 35
