Transmission fault...

Well....

On the way back down from a cold Northumberland to a cold South Yorkshire.
Got an info message on the FL2.

Transmission Fault, with the message reduced traction.

Anyone had this issue or can advise on what has happened.

As always help appreciated.

big job? back to the dealers then...again.

has to go back in for the issue with revs dropping when pulling up to a junction and also the seatbelt wearing away the pillars on both side fronts! Anyhoo off oot on me mobike.....

England 2007 Freelander 2 TD4 HSE Manual Sumatra Black

Had it with mine. started intermittently then on constantly, they changed the sensor took about hour or so ut it didnt fix it so ended up with a new haldex unit all sorted now all done on warranty

I had this on my first freelander 2 and the trader I bought it off very kindly paid to have it fixed at my local dealership. I can't remember the exact name but it was very close to 'rear dif temperature pressure sensor' or rear temperature pressure sensor' something like that anyway.... it cured the fault Smile
