Yes it is, just change to grass gravel snow, when needed, then when you get a wide bit of road and fancy playing, change to sand mode. Just tried it in our car park, as one of the directors in his BM was sliding around and couldn't get anywhere. Thought I have a play, and pulled away a couple of times in sand mode. The car just accelerated, with little wheel spin. There are times when I wish I didn't have ATR tyres , but have to say, loving them in the snow. |

went to the racecourse near our home to walk the dog then had a play in the snow on the grass car park, put the snow setting on turned the traction control off and the car sailed through the snow |

It's a sunny minus 9°C outside now - was a cool -14°C at 07:30hrs when daughter went to kindergarten.

Had some snow a week ago and as it has been minus degrees since (-10.5 C today) and because of a very strong wind, the roads have become very icy and slippery. As usual winter driving on non-studded winter tyres we hardly notice the difference but is often safer to drive than walk Some side roads are gritted, but this is mainly for pedestrians I assume. I don't normally need to use the TR snow/ice/grass function unless there is new snow as the 4x4 system copes exceptionally well in the normal position.

Oh no it didn't (well not in this bit of North Suffolk) just a very very slight sprinkle that melted away, and a couple of very light snow showers. I want to go out and play |

Must get my SatNav fixed - didn't realise that North Suffolk was in Sussex. It must be lurking in a quiet corner somewhere. |

Glad Suffolk didn't get too much. Coming your way in the next few days. Let's hope it stays clear. RR |

...and the garage at the back could hardly house a Freelander 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof. Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc. |
