Are side rubbing strips an optional extra or new for MY10? Can't figure out why they are not standard on all cars.
They cost extra £138 inc vat and fitting. The stealer wanted about £160 first as the jeep needed to stay indoors and dry cure over night

JEEP ?

Shocked

Easily done Embarassed - all 4x4's are called SUV's here as I guess they are in other places. Bit of cheek really when SUV name is also used for smaller less capable vehicles as well as the biggest most expensive models.

Best to refer to our Freely's as a Land Rover or just a 4x4 - gives them a bit more status over the competition Thumbs Up 2007 Freelander 2 HSE TD4 Manual with Premium Pack & Moonroof.
Stornoway Grey with Ebony Black Pleather, Clear Indicators, Body Side Mouldings etc.

Here in CH owners generally refer to their "Land Rover or Range Rover", and not Freelander/Defender/Discovery.

However in our family we've adopted the term "Landi" out of due deference to Swiss German dialects, where the addition of an "li" or "i" at the end of a word can politely indicate "baby or smaller" person or model. So we say our Landi.

At the moment mother and daughter are trying to agree on a name for "Landi". The gender is also being fought over. Whistle
