Troutbeck in the North Lakes is our preferred choice, nice site but 2 miles from nearest pub, about 8-12 miles from Keswick and Penrith, its quiet but gives us a good base to go and do whatever we want. Access is easy from the A66 as well if all the roads get put back in for next year after the recent flooding

I was trying to think of something that was critical but not over-offensive.

Bunree, went there about four years ago and will return, must have one of the best scenic views around absolutely fantastic. Only booked for Easter so far a few nights in Dorset for us. Didn't want to get greedy and have to hear about sites already fully booked. Nick, Beechwood Grange is fully booked for Easter a already along with Rowntree Park and that includes all the later Bank Holidays and Xmas also? p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |
