Will go in the garage but then I can't open the door 'cos of a support pillar for the bedroom extension above....I could always climb out of the sunroof . Back to the dealer when the new ECU for the parking sensors arrives |

There are two separate fuses. One for left side (FE34) and one for right side (FE35). Both 40 Amps rating, on Batery Junction Box, inside engine compartment. Why don't you look in your Handbook, Fuses section, at page 206??? Last edited by alex_pescaru on 9th Nov 2009 7:15 pm. Edited 3 times in total |

There'll definitely be two connectors for that. My Mondeo had the same issue after the windscreen was replaced. Don't have the problem anymore as my car doesn't have one Gone - TD4 XS Auto, Sumatra Black, Mud flaps and side strips, clear indicators, private plate, privacy glass |

Why do you need a new ECU for the parking sensors? Is this to cure the fault that arises in wet weather IE continuous sound instead of bleeping? Bill Turner. Life Honorary Member of Wallasey Motor Club. Licenced MSA Radio Operator for 35+ years. Rallying is the only sport. |

40amp fuses don't blow for no reason. I would imagine the problem will be a little more sinistar than a one-off, blown fuse. Definitely a trip to the dealers whilst under warranty. |

It's gone in again today for the windscreen (If they say it was just a fuse blown @ 40 amp I'll want to know why thanks alex) and of course the sensors. Why do I need a new ECU for the sensors?....can't answer that Bill but it's what they suggested they will change + all 8 sensors, connecting a trailer is supposed to cut out the rear sensors and that worked at the start and now does what it want's ! |

Wish I had been given right info by the dealer when I bought mine - Salesman told me that they didn't do heated screens and it wasn't an option.
