I think it might be a bit more complicated than plug and play, I don't think it's possible to be honest

I don't think its realisticaly possible you need to wire in some other stuff steering angle sensors etc etc and probably a different wiring loom, like anything probably possible but it may be simpler to stick an after market screen in the dash hole with a fixed sat nav system

I think the high line wiring system is different so its not just a plug and play. Even if it was plug and play there are several things that need integrating, no just the screen and dvd player.

High line wiring loom is different, it's possible to connect it as a basic sat nav (all it 'needs' from the vehicle is a composite speed signal from the ABS) but some of the more integrated features will not be available |

To be honest, I think that with the daft directions my genuine LR fitted Sat Nav makes I would stick with a TomTom unit. Taking you off Motorways and back on again. Into Lay-bys then out again. Wanting to go through villages when there is a more direct By-Pass it knows it is there and chooses that a longer distance with a slower speed is quicker? p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior |

Get schematic diagrams from: https://www.freel2.com/gallery/albums/userp...TS_LHD.pdf See what differences are between the ones with satnav (Infotainment Hi-Line) and the ones without (Infotainment Lo-Line). I am afraid that you will need another wireloom, because the Hi-Line version - the one that has Navigation - has a different network for comunication between modules - MOST (Media Oriented System Transport) http://www.igigroup.com/st/pages/pof_MOST.html The Lo-Line has only CAN Bus. So, I am afraid that you will find the install too complicated... |
