It's a Veyron. Vernon is a bloke form Bolton who's all over the place. Good point well made though. I get about 35 on a longish fast M'way run, How does one vote BTW? Indus Silver GS TD4 Private Parts |

Recent trips down to Englandshire and Glasgow a few times I have found that you get better fuel economy by not using the cruise control.

I'm getting about 40 mpg with mixed country roads, A roads and motorway driving on a weekly commute of 180 miles each way. What hurts is the short in town drive from lodgings to the office. This over the week will reduce a reported 42 mpg to 39 mpg. The majority of the commute is on cruise control and I totally agree about using the correct gear for the speed, too high a gear and the mpg drops dramatically despite the revs being lower. Overall very happy with the figures |
