Land Rover want shooting for this stupid decision. They should have changed to supplying an alloy spare across the range for zero cost.

Apparently, and according to my local tyre supplier, cleaning the crap foam out of a temporary repaired tyre is very difficult and time consuming which no doubt will also lead to more expensive tyre repairs.

At least if you buy the full size spare you can swap the tyre onto one of the alloys when needed a. space savers as fitted now hardly get used much at all a total waste of a tyre. At work

What happens with the empty space in the boot if there is no spare wheel? I suppose it will be a foam shaped wheel with an insert cut out to stick the foam bottle in!!!! Stupid idea! |
