the screen washers aren't working either, i've tried pressing the button numerous times to see if the headlamp washers kick but they didn't. |

It might be the alarm backup problem that quite a few of us have had, the washers, and automatic wipers give problems and the auto lights are on all the time |

the auto lights seem to be working fine, can't say much for the auto wipers not needed to use them yet! what's the remedy for this problem? the rear wiper/ washer is working fine. can't really say I hear the motor kicking in. looks like a trip back to the dealer! |

Probably find that it's only one motor in the system and will spin one way or the other depending on whether you're washing the windscreen or back window so can probably discount a washer motor as being faulty. More likely either the pipe to the windscreen is either trapped/kinked/blocked or come off altogether. Try it with the bonnet open to make sure the pipe isn't kinked.

Ooooo let the dealer do it - These things always end up in hours spent getting get it back together again to look how it was before you fiddled and you will probably find it will need a new part anyway.
