I actually sit on the RRSport forum but my wife has a 59 Freelander 2 and has been bugging me to get her HTC Windows mobile to connect via bluetooth to her PTI kit. I did a search on HTC on this forum and found bits and pieces but nothing constructive. This is how I did it.

Have you done a cold reboot e.g take the battery out , wait 10 seconds and re-insert it? |

Just in case anyone is still struggling with trying to get the HTC Touch Pro 2 (and possibly other HTC WinMob models) working properly on the FL2 (ie so you can hear and make calls), thanks to those great guys on xda developers, I found another Registry tweak that fixed it for me:

Or you could just turn the data link off before connecting to the FL2's, blutooth and it will work fine. |

True, but I suppose the registry change means it's one less option to turn off when you want the phone to work in the car. Hardly an overhead though I know!
