Towbar on a HST

Just took delivery of my 2008 Freelander 2 HST and would like to know if i can add a Landrover towbar? Someone suggested that might not be the case with the HST body kit, would it require a change of rear bumper?
Thx Surprised)

Deek Welcome and as CG says it is possible to fit as numerous members have done it

Whistle Ignore CG's anti towbar outbursts, his therapist says he had a childhood incident with a towbar and his not been able to sit down or do a bowel movement since, and now has to talks loads of Censored about how bad caravans are for the roads to get over it.... He he - Many thanks guys Surprised)

I just want to tow light boat/dinghy trailers ...a sailor! So i take it i won't need the second trailer elec socket? I love DIY so would like to buy the proper kit and fit it myself.

Yes i am new - I only took delivey of car today and so joined the group tonight. My next issue will be how to connect an iPhone AND! an iPod. The phone seems to work well with the standard integrated bluetooth etc so i might just get a dash cradle to keep it legal.

So i think i'll need the Landrover aux audio cable for the iPod? The standard audio jack is ok (great sound from the Alpine speakers) but i'd like to be able to switch tracks from the safety of the steering wheel controls - must stay legal and all that.

Surprised)

Tow bars are useful they help you carry and tow.

Side steps help people in and out.

Side tubes? WTF

You can get black side tubes for £79 pm me there are 6 available. I'd chuck um in the canal Whistle

If you are fitting the Geuine LR wiring kit you will need a trip to the dealer to get it configured to work correctly, you will then get the Trailor Indicator on the dash working, also it will disable the rear fogs on the FL2 when towing and it will turn off the rear parking sensors when your trailor is attached and you wish to reverse, or you can just press the button on the dash and turn them off. p****d off with a Digital Keyboard Warrior
