VW / Audi dealers have the VAG-1551/2, Mercedes have STAR; What tool do LR dealers use to 'talk' to Freelanders? Is there a end-user equivalent? New: Freelander2 GS 62 plate (MY13) - Santorini Black with Clearview & Front PDC

I've got a DVD "Jaguar landrover IDS v118" which is supposed to be diagnostic software for a LR but I'm assuming that it is useless without an interface.

Actually it is quite intruiging! .... but useless without an interface. I understand it is the same 'WCM' used by Ford. Cheapest I've seen one is $500 + shipping for a clone. The cheapest in the UK was £550 from here New: Freelander2 GS 62 plate (MY13) - Santorini Black with Clearview & Front PDC Old: Freelander2 XS 09 Plate - Zermatt Silver with ST3 remap (eco map), Garmin 1490T Sat Nav, Rear Seat Entertainment kit |

My towbar specialist had a box that talked to the Freelander, I watched him use it on my car, not something the main dealer would do, it was quite amazing. The box cost over £4k !!! Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor ... but not any more ... ... psst look at my gallery!
