The button means the tuner is digital and not DAB. This means that for example if you are listening to Radio 2, and the signal fades as you drive along the road, the radio will scan for a better reception and tune to it and then swap station to the new frequency. probably the case, although if you listen to Radio2 & it fades it might not be the signal!
however if you have dab then it's the same button for dab/fm.
meant to add that i've had the car for almost 6 months & nothing's fallen off it
or stopped working. Result !
Although i might not be an early adopter of a hybrid landrover. can't quite imagine what that'll be like for trouble free motoring.

According to my dealer when I ordered mine (11 months ago) DAB was then always an optional extra, they didn't pre-build any with it on. I wanted DAB (makes listening to Test Match Special slightly easier, no other reason ), but to have it would have cost me an extra £2k, as by the time it was built the HSEs would have been the more expensive version with all the extra plastic crap stuck to the outside.
