Digital radio?

Daft question of the day.

This is the radio in my wife's FL2 which she bought new a month ago. I can't seem to get any digital channels on it - I suspect user error (as usual) but I'm sure someone on here can help.

Her car is an XS 2009.

I believe it is MY2010 that has the DAB radio as standard and you might have needed to order it Thumbs Up

My '56 plate has the same 'Digital' button also even though the DAB was not available to order at the time

Somebody called Big_Ears said it was possible as he worked for a dealer and had to do it to a car that had it missed from the order.

But to my knowledge and TLO it is not possible to do, maybe Wiggs could look at it if you need it Idea Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Radio Probelm DAB

I've had problems with my radio since day one, it's now 2 1/2 years down the road and the problem still exists. At one point in the saga I had to listen to the service manager tell me that the radio was very sensitive because it was a digital radio !!!

Yes the radio has a digital (i.e. numeric) display but I think it takes a bit more than that to be digital radio. Stornoway Grey GS ... What a fine motor Smile ... but not any more ... Big Cry ... psst look at my gallery!

Strange, because the manual talks about DAB.

Not that I ever believe what it says in manuals!

I quickly learnt the manual talks about alot of things the cars doesn't have when trying to alter the headlamps for wrong side of the road driving in France. Former Mod/Member, with the most post & Chicken George Arch nemesis

Digital in thei case, I am led to believe means Digital tuning, not DAB. However, it is indeed the buttong you press to go over to DAB if you have it, from FM1, FM2 to DAB1, to DAB2.

afaik. 09MY FL2 Td4 XS, Style Pack, Privacy Glass, Martinique Blue.. oh so very blue..

it took me 3 days of messing about with the dab radio to get anything out of.
You use the buttons above the display to set your groups & then set subgroups,
From memory i pressed everything randomly twice & it filled all 10 stations in dab 1
& then another random selection to fill dab2.
i'm not touching it again incase i break it, but radio5 in stereo was nice for the tennis.

graeme - which model do you have? I assumed that pressing the FM/digital button would scroll between the 2 FM options then the 2 "alleged" digital options but all I get is 2 FM ones.

it's the dab one, i traded in my se in january for an hse
& ordered dab as an option,
the cycle on the se was fm1/ fm2
& now its dab1, dab2, fm1 & fm2
joking apart it is the single most baffling thing to set up.
