Thé “H” speed rating means for use up to 130mph…..if I remember correctly…..so if you’re using tyres on an FL2 surely there’s no problem………… FL2 SD4 HSE Lux Auto MY 2012— current

No, its not the same in the UK. Our vehicle registration documents do not mention wheel or tyre sizes. You can fit different size wheels and tyres as along as your insurer accepts the modifications. So it's common in the UK to fit wider, lower profile tyres than those fitted as standard on cars. You can also alter the suspension too ; lowering or raising it - the latter being common on Landrovers. My Fiesta ST has 225/40 R18 tyres instead of the standard 205/40 R18 ones, it handles and brakes better as a result. And they are £100 cheaper per tyre (same tyre) than the OEM size. People often assume the manufacturers standard tyre fitment is optimal for the vehicle but often a certain tyre size is chosen to perform best in aerodynamic and fuel consumption tests, rather than for passenger comfort or handling.
