2013 Freelander 2 SD4 HSE Auto Santorini Black

Rear Door not unlocking--MOT failure?

My daughter has the dreaded door lock issue and the MOT is due next week. MY13 SDV8.
I can open the passenger rear door lock from inside and then open door but the auto unlock (it does auto lock) not working. Is it a MOT failure? I have ordered new complete part but not sure it will arrive in time.

unlock the door before the test,
mine has passed like this for the past 6 or 7 years
