Something to do with stuffing a Peugeot Citroen engine in a Landrover. Fuel filter and oil filter are a pig to change, even with the £30 27mm angle head ratchet spanner. I can service the jag x type in less than half the time of the Freelander, and with more skin left on my knuckles lol |

im on my 4th freelander 2 now and the first thing I do is a major service including auto gearbox oil and diffs these are brilliant cars but things always get overlooked or just left, ive had my Dynamic MY13 for a few months now and have done full service both rear wheel bearings and about to rebuild the rear diff then it will be perfect and serve me well for many years, these are great cars and in my opinion very cheap for what you get just work through the jobs one at a time its all basic mechanicals and not rocket science and if you do it yourself you KNOW its done right |
