Wipe your fingers or a tissue under both Reservoir connectors. Check for leaks.

No there is not a "Stop Leak fluid" for steering systems - you need to find where the leak is and repair/replace the part. Just follow the hoses as shown in the JLR workshop manual (free from this forum) and check for leaks as you go. Jules |

No it isn’t compatible with CHF202, I was just pointing out the fact that these products are available. Of course, there may be one that is compatible with CHF202, I just haven’t looked for one. Naturally these sort of products are only designed to stop leaky seals, by making them swell/soften, they won’t stop a pin holed/rusty pipe leak! (Now Sold). 2008 Freelander 2 (Nazca Sand) SE TD4 Auto. Statutory write off & on WOVR for hail damage but still road legal.

PTFE tape will get eaten through by steering fluid after a while (found out the hard way!) |

I would say get under the car and check for corrosion of the lower pipes connected to the steering rack, that is where mine leaked and lucky i was close to home new pipes and connections fitted all be ok since. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 Also make sure you use the correct fluid which should be green. 9 10 |
